We reserve the right to reclaim horses (so long as we own the sire or dam of said horse) purchased from us if the buyer (member) goes inactive for an prolonged period of time and doesn't lease out the horse before their absence.
Horses two years of age and older must be raced actively at either of the three racetracks -- provided no unforeseen injuries do not occur. Racing the horse at least twice a month would be considered active.
We do notask for a breeding reserve on any of the horses we sell, if we wish to breed one of our horses to a horse previously owned by us, we'll gladly pay any stud fees.
Please do not breed any of the horses purchased from us until they are retired from racing, being at least 4 yearsold. We strongly advise that the horse has at least reaches the G3 level before retirement is considered -- provided no unforeseen injuries do not occur (which can be discussed as well for realistic gameplay!).
If you wish to sell any horse previously owned by us, you are free to do so at your own leisure. If the horse is of racing age, please remember to keep the horse in races until it has been sold.
If you are LEASING a horse:
Leases are typically offered in 1 year increments which expire at the end of the SIM year, depending on how well the horse ran under your colors, you may be asked if you'd like to continue racing the horse for another year.
For our racing leases, you will own 100% of the horse for that time period. The horse will run under your name, stable and in your colors. Any costs or profits made from said horse will be 100% yours. You do not have to pay to lease any of our available horses at any given time.
You may not sell or lease the leased horse to another individual.
If you are leasing an active racehorse that is currently racing, you may not breed the horse at any given time.
Leasee's may not geld any colts or stallions offered from us.
Certain horses are predicted to go a certain way over another by us (HOTY or Undercard savvy horses) and we may offer advice (if asked) as needed throughout the time the horse is under your ownership. Please keep the horse's preferences, personality in mind when choosing races.
